A few weeks ago, the water stopped flowing at my house, which seems crazy when it is pouring rain outside. Christian created a rain catcher out of bamboo, some wire, and the kitchen garbage can:



Here it is in action, filling in an average of 15 seconds:



We used the water to do laundry, dishes, and to flush toilets until it was running through the faucet again.


I figure this is noteworthy because it is the first time I have seen PBR in Panama. I bought it at a Chinese import store in David. I like the pull-tab. I don't think I have ever had a beer with a pull-tab because they stopped making them before I became a beer drinker.
