Panama City Trip

My friends Stephen and Kirt had some errands to run in Panama City a few weeks ago, which was a good opportunity for me to visit and network. Kirt is keeping an eye on a condo on the 40th floor of a building, so we had a place to stay for a night with an excellent vantage point on the city. I am amazed at the size and quantity of modern buildings here. We went out to eat at a Sushi restaurant and an Indian restaurant, visited a cigar bar, met some locals, and did some exploring. The second night, we visited Casco Viejo which is the original part of the city. The streets are brick in many places, and a restoration project is currently underway to preserve the old buildings and architecture.

Sunset view of the bay.

I think Darth Vader lives here.

Sunset...the lights on the horizon are huge container ships awaiting their turn to pass through the Panama Canal.

More buildings.

More high-rises as far as you can see.

More big ones with the Trump building in the center...pretty yonic if you ask me.

View from the roof-top swimming pool of the condo we stayed in.

One of the more famous buildings just constructed.
