Rain. You just keep coming! I love you as long as I can summon the energy to be outside in the jungle enjoying the wetness!
I went to a play in town last night with Jess and it was great! It is so nice to be able to enjoy theater in such a small town. Julian, a 17 year old student of Jess's was one of the main characters, and he killed it! Jess and I went to dinner at the newly re-opened/remodeled Bistro, then the play, then back to the Bistro for the after-party. I feel a real sense of community here as I get to know more and more people.
I met with some clients from Texas yesterday who are great. They are ready to make the move to Boquete. I met with them again today, and we are working out the details. Tomorrow, I am off to David with my new roommate, Lyn, to look at some land. Lyn and I have committed to live on an organic coffee farm for at least three months. I am so excited to live there in a nice (small) house in the middle of coffee plants overlooking some of the most amazing scenery ever. It even comes with a dalmatian guard dog named Junior who is sharp-shy, but really sweet. Our landlord is from Berkeley and runs the coffee finca...he is living his retirement dream and is super cool.
Life is great!

RAIN! (that is your name.... right?!?)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having an amazing time! I'm so happy for you.
FYI.... I had a dalmation, Buckley, as my childhood pet. They are the best! VERY PROTECTIVE!
