Some things about the past couple of weeks:
Watched the Packers two weeks in a row with Jason, and again last night...Safe to say it's over.
Got pulled over for going too fast in a construction zone - I am not sure my car can move less than 5km/hour, but since I am a gringo, I got a lecture. I argued a bit and he let me go without a bribe.
Looked at several pieces of property and started listings on three of them.
Worked on putting together rentals for clients.
Picked zucchini, cucumber, radish, cilantro, and mustard greens from the garden.
Ate several of Lyn's Christmas cookies.
Climbed with Cesar, and two new friends, Dina and Dimas.
Went to Yoga for the first time in probably a year. Dina is the teacher and the class is $1 for the room rental plus donation. It was an excellent class (Lyn says maybe the best she's ever been to) and I plan on attending regularly.
Looked around the yard for a missing shoe and a missing flip-flop (Pecho Blanco likes to grab one at a time and run, depositing it somewhere on the farm). It's like a daily Easter egg hunt only without the candy or the laughter.
Met the exterminator to look at scorpion solutions...he ended up spraying and we haven't had any more, thank goodness.
Studied Spanish (ok, I guess that's a daily thing now).
Been reading a book on Jungles that Andy gave to me...very interesting.
Committed to going to the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica, to camp over Christmas with Lyn, Ballardo, and others.
House-sat with Jessica in Jaramillo Ariba in a gorgeous house overlooking the volcan Baru and Alto Boquete. We took care of the dogs, let the chickens and turkeys in/out of the coop, and got locked IN the house when the front door wouldn't open.
