Woke up early and met Catherine at her apartment. Then met up with Pat from Boulder, Lauren, and two Blue Healers, Dottie (Pat's) and Asia (Catherine's). We drove to the Superstition Mountains to climb "The Hand." I'd led this climb years ago, but forgot how heady it is. The rock looks like it's about to crumble out from under you with every step. It is climbed very often, so anything that would be knocked off probably already has been. The weather was perfect. Catherine led me, and Pat led Lauren to a beautiful summit. We were down by 3pm. I stopped for delicious tacos, and headed to (temporary) home.
