Sad news

My good friend Christi left for Busan, Korea to teach English about a month ago. A few days ago, she got word that her 31 year old sister was in the hospital and unconscious. From what I understand, she had begun having chest pain and it was discovered that she had a virus in her heart. Christi rushed to arrange for a flight home to be with her family and sister. Christi made it there, but her sister's condition worsened, and she passed on. I can't even begin to imagine how the family feels right now. It's so shocking and awful. It makes me feel like there is no time like the present, carpe diem. If you don't enjoy what you are doing, do something else, because life is truly precious, and can end without warning.
