I was super sore on Wednesday, so I took a day off. I moved my stuff over to Jeanne and Chad's house again. Sylvia was kind enough to offer her room to me. I learned that Sylvia has a favorite doll, which she affectionately refers to as "Poop-eyes." Amanda D came over, and we hung out with the kids.

Thursday, I went to the zoo with Jeanne, Sylvia, and Joe-Joe-Monster. In the first two minutes I was there, I counted at least 50 strollers, almost as if it were a requirement to have one. We met up with Natalie and Walker and made our way to the Lions. There were again 50 or so strollers with kids everywhere, when Daddy lion decided to have his way with Mommy lion...chaos ensued. Several moms ran for their kids, shielded their eyes, and hurried them away. Another mom repeatedly exclaimed "It's Springtime at the Zoo!" Then we took the train and called it a day. What fun!
Heading into the farm area of the zoo. Little kids are just as impressed with Chickens as they are with Lions.

My vision of what hell is like. Ok, it wasn't THAT bad.
Later, I grabbed my shorts and headed to the gym...only when I got to the gym, I realized my "shorts" were really Jack's pants which I mistakenly grabbed. Good thing I had swim trunks in my car. Last night, we had a BBQ at Chad and Jeanne's house. It was an amazingly warm day for this time of year. Natalie, Brian, Walker, Shelly and Bill with their kids Ella and Sydney, Joe, Doug, Nando, Mike, and Keith all came over and we had delicious burgers and Shelly's famous chicken won-tons. After that, the boys played poker until 3am. How fun to be together with the old crew!
